About Pull Request Labels

Labels in Git repositories allow you to organize and categorize pull requests. Each label has a descriptive name such as bug, feature or discussion.

Colors can be used to customize labels appearance. This feature helps you to easily find a pull request among many pull requests. For instance, you can apply red color on the bug label, so that will be an effective strategy to find all pull requests with bugs in a repository.

With labels, you can quickly filter all your pull requests for getting only specific ones. Thus using labels saves your time dealing with a substantial amount of pull requests in a repository.
